Hi! My name is Elizabeth. I am excited for this opportunity to work with Cherryman Law Firm as I have seen firsthand how complex it can be to navigate the world of estate settlement. After assisting my mom for several years as she worked tirelessly to settle my grandparents’ estate, it drove home the importance of having one’s affairs in order so that the burden of estate settlement is lessened for surviving family members.

Prior to joining the Cherryman Law Firm, I worked as a Chiropractic Assistant. I left that vocation to be a new-time mom! I am also an accomplished former law enforcement officer who served the communities of Virginia Beach and James City County. I have a BA in Criminal Justice from Thomas Edison State University (which I obtained debt-free!), am Crisis Intervention Team (C.I.T.) certified, and a certified R.A.D. Systems Basic Physical Defense instructor for women. I am also a recipient of the Lifesaving Award and the bronze President’s Volunteer Service Award.

I have experience as a professional photographer and I love to travel, read, go horseback riding, walk on the beach, play the piano, and enjoy quality time with my family and friends. I currently reside in Virginia Beach with my husband, our son, and our two Balinese kitties.
